My photography story.

How I Got Here…

I graduated from New England School of Photography in 2003, and while I had absolutely zero intentions of photographing weddings or portraiture (like, no joke - never), despite Majoring in Portraiture my final year, I find myself so in love with both.

I love being able to capture the sweet moments between a bride and her Grandmother, or the groom and his Mom during their first dance, to capturing the true essence of a High School Senior in their senior portrait, or the tender  touch a new father has with his firstborn child. I love connecting with my clients it helps make the photograph complete.

LET’S GET PERSONAL

I love adventure! Whether it be a month long road trip, or discovering a new town, checking out a new restaurant or taking a left because it just feels right it all creates space for a visual story to reminisce about later with those I love.

“The angles and the lighting were perfect in every shot, and she was able to capture all of the little details from that day. she was not only an exceptional photographer, but we consider her now a friend!”

My goal is to capture emotive images that will enable you to relive your wedding day for many many years…

It is very important to me to build a relationship that helps you to feel relaxed and comfortable in front of the camera.

It's a privilege to be a part of every wedding I photograph, and my wealth of experience means that the photography part runs smoothly, allowing both of you to enjoy your day.

My favorite part of my job is hearing “That was way more fun than I expected it to be!” on the walk back to the car.

Honestly…more often than not they haven’t seen their images before telling me how much fun they just had. It’s the highest compliment.

The truth is, it’s my job to make this whole process easy for you. I’ll un-pose you so that you’re naturally doing whatever you’re doing. Yes, I might say “come, sit here, and point your knees away from me…” or “ok, this might feel weird, but I promise it is a small tweak that will pay off in this shot,, I promise!”

On that note: No one knows what they're doing. I’ve never had a client come into a photoshoot and completely run the show.

Trust me, I’m not expecting that at all. I will help guide you to be as natural as you can possibly be. I may ask for you to do certain things, but it’s just to help you connect with me on a deeper level than just “look here and smile”.

“If you are looking for a great photographer look no further. Meg is truly amazing! She is a creative and talented photographer who puts thought into every photo she shoots.”
